Last weekend, I had the opportunity to join my fellow Boston Brunchers at the Back Deck in Boston for what else- BRUNCH! The restaurant uses a lot of wood and greenery make it look like you’re outside, on the back deck.

Brand new to the corner of Washington and West Street, Back Deck is grilling up burgers and stirring up pitchers of spiked punch in what seems to be a backyard barbecue right in the heart of downtown.

Back Deck Boston is located on the corner of Washington and West Streets in Downtown Crossing.  This bright, light restaurant is decorated to invoke the feeling of relaxing in a friend's backyard on a warm summer night.

DOWNTOWN CROSSING - Back Deck, which opened last summer with grilling at its core, is starting a new special based around "slow-grilled" dishes inspired by various cuisines. These will be available as entrees and as part of a three-course prix fixe on some Sundays.

Everything tastes better on the grill. And few times are happier than backyard barbecues with friends and family. So the new Downtown Crossing restaurant Back Deck would seem to have hit upon a winning formula: Cook most things over hardwood charcoal in a setting designed to evoke a summertime cookout.
